Description
What is Modalert 200 mg?
Modalert 200 mg is a generic modafinil tablet manufactured by Sun Pharma. The strength printed on the carton and on the blister foil is 200 mg of modafinil per tablet, and the pack also carries the brand name, the manufacturer’s name and address, the manufacturing licence number, the batch number and the expiry date. Those printed particulars are the facts a shop can state about a medicine, and they are the ones this page states.
Modafinil is a chiral compound. The molecule exists in two mirror-image forms, designated R and S, and modafinil as it is manufactured — the substance in Modalert and in every other modafinil brand — contains equal parts of both. Armodafinil, listed elsewhere in this shop under its own brand names, is the same molecule with the R form alone. That is a description of composition and the reason the numbers on the two kinds of label differ. It is not a statement about what either substance does in a person, and nothing here should be read as one.
Modafinil is a prescription-only medicine in most of the European Union and a controlled substance in many countries. Whether it is suitable for a particular person, in what quantity and for how long, are decisions for a doctor or pharmacist working from that person’s medical history and current medicines, together with the patient information leaflet packed inside the carton. NeuroPeak sells sealed manufacturer packs and is not a pharmacy: we assess no one’s suitability, issue no prescriptions and give no dosing advice. Import, possession and personal-use rules vary between countries and are amended from time to time — check the rules in force at your delivery address before ordering.
What’s in the pack
Modalert is supplied in Sun Pharma’s own sealed original packaging. What arrives is what the factory assembled, and this is what that pack contains:
- the sealed original manufacturer carton, printed by Sun Pharma and unopened;
- the foil blister strips, still inside that carton and still whole;
- the brand name Modalert, printed on both the carton and the blister foil;
- the strength, 200 mg of modafinil per tablet, printed on both the carton and the blister foil;
- the batch number, exactly as applied at the factory;
- the expiry date, exactly as applied at the factory;
- the manufacturer’s patient information leaflet, packed inside the carton — the document to read before anything else.
Nothing is decanted into our own containers, nothing is relabelled and no blister is cut to make up a quantity. Because the pack stays whole, every tablet delivered can be traced to a specific batch and to the analysis of that batch.

Paying in Bitcoin takes 20% off at checkout.
The table is generated from the catalogue at the moment the page is served rather than typed into the description, so the figures are the ones being charged today. Cost per tablet falls as pack size rises, and paying in Bitcoin removes the percentage shown beneath the table from the whole order automatically at checkout, with no coupon code to enter.
Manufacturer
Modalert is made by Sun Pharma. These are the particulars we can evidence, and we assert nothing beyond them:
- Company: Sun Pharma, a pharmaceutical company founded in 1983.
- Based in: Mumbai, and listed on the Indian stock exchanges.
- Standard on the box: production is WHO-GMP certified — Good Manufacturing Practice in the form published by the World Health Organization. It is a manufacturing standard describing how a production site is run, documented and inspected.
- Printed at the plant: the carton carries the company’s name and address, the manufacturing licence number, the batch number, the manufacturing date and the expiry date, printed at the plant rather than added later in the supply chain.
- Independent batch testing: every batch that arrives at our EU warehouse is sampled and sent for independent laboratory analysis before it is listed for sale.
- Certificate of Analysis: the certificate for that batch is available to download. It identifies the active substance and confirms that the tablet contains the amount declared on the label.
- Sealed and never repackaged: stock is stored sealed in its cartons and dispatched sealed.
WHO-GMP is a statement about the plant, not about what a tablet does in a person, and we do not stretch it into one. We name it because Sun Pharma holds it, and we do not attribute certificates, distinctions or markets we could not evidence. Nor do we rank makers by size or reputation: how large a company is, and how often its name comes up, are not properties of the tablet inside the blister. The Certificate of Analysis documents the contents of the pack in the same way — it is not evidence about what those contents will do for an individual, and we do not use it that way.
Modalert and the other modafinil brands
This shop lists modafinil from several manufacturers, most of it declaring the same 200 mg per tablet as Modalert. Where the active substance and the strength on two labels are identical, what remains to compare is the company that makes the tablet, the pack sizes offered and the price per tablet. A bioequivalent generic is not a different medicine: it does not take effect sooner, continue longer or arrive more strongly than another product with the same substance at the same declared strength. Vendors who publish grids scoring one brand as smoother or another as more potent are inventing a difference the labels do not contain, and the brand that scores best is dependably the one with the higher margin. We compare on the two things that are real.
| Brand | Manufacturer | From, per tablet |
|---|---|---|
| Modvigil 200mg | HAB Pharmaceuticals | € 1,15 |
| Modaheal 200mg | Healing Pharma | € 1,23 |
| Modalert 200mg | Sun Pharma | € 1,30 |
| Vilafinil 200mg | Centurion Laboratories | € 1,35 |
The Modalert row is marked. Rows are sorted by price per tablet and read live from the catalogue, so the cheapest modafinil per tablet on the day you look is at the top — and it is not always this one.
Price per tablet compares pack sizes of the same product cleanly. Across brands it compares like with like only where the strength printed on both cartons is the same, so read the strength off the box rather than inferring it from the table. We do not convert prices into a price per milligram either, because that arithmetic would imply that tablets of different strengths stand in for one another — a statement about dose, which is not ours to make. The per-tablet figure is a price and nothing more.
Dosing: why we do not advise
This section carries no self-dosing, timing, administration, stacking or cycling protocol, and the heading says so plainly rather than promising guidance the text then withholds. Suitability and individual use are decided with a doctor or pharmacist, working from that person’s medical history, the other medicines they take and the patient information leaflet packed inside the carton. Do not combine or alternate medicines without professional advice.
The leaflet is the document that lists what has been reported for modafinil: headache, nausea, dry mouth, reduced appetite, difficulty sleeping. It also lists serious reactions — severe skin, allergic, psychiatric and cardiac symptoms. Stop taking the medicine and seek urgent medical help if a serious reaction occurs. The leaflet holds the complete list and this page does not; where the two differ, the leaflet is the document that counts, and we do not grade for you how any of it will feel.
NeuroPeak is a shop, not a pharmacy. We hold nobody’s medical history, we assess nobody, and we therefore have no basis on which to say what quantity suits any individual — which is exactly why this page does not say it. That question belongs to a doctor or pharmacist, with the leaflet in front of them.
Side effects and safety
Effects listed in the leaflet
Reported in the leaflet:
- headache
- nausea
- dry mouth
- reduced appetite
- difficulty sleeping
- dizziness
- anxiety and nervousness
The leaflet packed with the medicine carries the complete list and takes precedence over this summary.
When to stop and seek urgent medical help
Stop and seek medical help immediately if any of the following occur:
- a skin rash
- blistering
- ulceration of the mouth or eyes
- swelling of the face or throat
- difficulty breathing
- fever
- chest pain
- an irregular heartbeat
- hallucinations
- agitation
- depression or thoughts of self-harm
A rash can be the first sign of a serious reaction; it is a reason to stop and get medical attention, not to wait and see.
Contraindications, contraception and storage
Hormonal contraception: modafinil reduces the effectiveness of hormonal contraceptives, including pills, patches, rings, implants and hormonal coils. Anyone relying on hormonal contraception must agree additional or alternative contraception with a doctor or pharmacist before use, and review it again when stopping.
Contraindications and cautions: modafinil is contraindicated in anyone with a known hypersensitivity to modafinil or armodafinil. Medical advice is essential before use by anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding, anyone with a heart condition, high blood pressure, impaired liver or kidney function or a history of psychiatric illness, and anyone taking other medicines, because interactions are possible.
Storage. Keep the tablets in their original packaging at normal room temperature, dry and away from direct light, and out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use the product after the expiry date printed on the carton and the blister.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a prescription to order?
We do not ask for one and we cannot issue one — NeuroPeak is a shop, not a pharmacy. That describes how this shop works and says nothing about the status of the product itself: modafinil is a prescription-only medicine in most of the European Union and a controlled substance in many countries, the rules on import, possession and personal use vary between countries and are amended from time to time, and checking what applies at your delivery address before ordering is your responsibility. Whether this product is appropriate for you at all is a question for a doctor or pharmacist.
How much is one tablet?
The price per tablet is shown in the pack table above, beside each pack size, and it falls as the pack size rises. We do not repeat a figure in this text, because the table is generated from the catalogue at the moment the page is served and a number typed into a description would be wrong the first time a price moved.
How can I pay, and how does the discount work?
The payment methods available are shown at checkout and listed on our FAQ page. Paying in Bitcoin applies a discount automatically: the percentage appears beneath the pack table and again at checkout, it comes off the whole order rather than a single line, and there is no coupon code to enter.
How do I check that what arrived matches the certificate of analysis?
Read the batch number printed on the carton and repeated on the blister foil, then ask us for the Certificate of Analysis for that batch. The certificate names the batch, identifies the active substance and confirms that the tablet contains the amount declared on the label. Because packs travel in sealed original packaging and are never repackaged, the batch on the box in your hands is the batch that was analysed. If the two do not match, do not use the product — contact us first.
What happens if the parcel does not arrive?
Every parcel is tracked end to end, and the tracking number is emailed on handover to the carrier. If a tracked shipment does not arrive, we reship at no cost or refund in full. Nothing needs to be claimed under a separate policy: the delivery guarantee applies to every tracked order.
Do you answer questions about dosing, or about whether this is right for me?
No. We hold nobody’s medical history and we assess nobody, so we have no basis for answering a question about quantity, timing or suitability, and our support team will not answer one even if it is put directly. Discuss it with a doctor or pharmacist before use, with the patient information leaflet from the pack in front of you.
Our FAQ page answers the questions that come up most often: legality and import rules country by country, delivery times, payment methods and the Bitcoin discount, how the delivery guarantee works, and how to obtain the Certificate of Analysis for the batch you received. If it does not answer yours, contact us.
